City Cafe and Bakery

Food was decent overall. I wasn’t really a fan of the matcha tea, but everything else was solid. The best part of this place is definitely the environment and the service. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, and it makes you want to sit and stay awhile. Chris was my server and he made me feel phenomenal…attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Great service goes a long way, and he really elevated the experience.

This was my first time having breakfast here, and I am very pleased with the experience. The coffee was exceptional, and the breakfast I ordered was equally impressive. Our waitress provided attentive and courteous service throughout the visit. I also purchased a few pastries to take home and am looking forward to trying the cannolis.

I really wanted to enjoy my visit because the server was very nice and attentive, but the food was a huge disappointment. I ordered the new salmon croquette meal and for $21, I was honestly shocked at what came out. The plate had two small patties and a few pieces of lettuce—no sides at all. For that price point, it absolutely should have come with at least one or two sides. I couldn’t believe I spent that much money and still left hungry. Great service, but the portion and value for this meal were extremely disappointing.

Used the baker for our wedding cake. We met with her to taste cakes and then showed her inspirational pictures of what we wanted. The cake turned out beautifully and it was delicious!! Guests raved about the cake and I can't wait to eat it again on our anniversary.

Excellent food and atmosphere! The fried green tomato stack and the Cajun shrimp and grits were fantastic. Definitely something to get here!
