The food was outstanding from start to finish everything was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The meat was perfectly cooked and tender, the sauces were spot on, and the sides were just as good as the main dishes. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a great experience and easily one of the best barbecue spots around. I’ll definitely be coming back. I got the more cowbell, and it was amazing, highly reccomend.
Great atmosphere and even better food! Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The sampler is the way to go if you can't decide—the turkey is surprisingly juicy and the Texas toast is the perfect addition to soak up their signature sauces. Definitely one of the best BBQ chains around for a quick, high-quality meal.
We moved to Cincinnati from Charleston, SC and have been really missing good Q. The minute we walked in it was like being back home. Everything from the smell, to the service was a pleasure to enjoy.
Good mainstream BBQ. Love the collard greens! Good smoked meats. Always nicely done. Decent selection of sauces, but nothing too hot (spicy), which is a shame if you're in the mood. I particularly enjoy the smoked turkey breast, as it's not offered many places. Cornbread is very good too. The brisket chili is usually very, very good, but can be a bit too thick at times.
Did you know Eastgate has a Queen? Her throne is behind the cash register at City Barbeque! She is the Queen Anna, Queen of her Queengdom and what a kind and gracious Queen she is! She works every Saturday and Sunday so go see her! 😃 For being mine and my hubbies first visit she gave us free drinks and let us know if we put a review on Google we’ll get a free desert! Just show her the review! Done, done aaand DONE! How to order; Go to the counter, order then fine a table. Wait for your name to be called and that’s it! I got the Cobb salad with pulled chicken and honey mustard-delicious!!! And for desert I’m going to try their banana pudding, but their chocolate cake looks to die for too! The decor is adorable, heavy on that back yard picnic vibe! Bring your family and enjoy! Check it out
