It was dirty, the food was overpriced, the service was slow, and everything felt sticky. My husband ordered a large combo plate, but I was already disgusted the moment we walked in, so I stuck to chicken nuggets and fries. You’re forced to order at the counter right at the entrance, almost like a low-end fast-food setup. There’s no chance to sit down, look over the menu, and order comfortably with a server. Instead, you have to stand there reading the board while other people line up behind you, adding pressure to hurry. The food took an unexpectedly long time, especially considering my nuggets and fries were just half-heartedly tossed onto a metal tray — not even a proper plate. And on top of that, we had to eat with plastic forks. Clearly it’s the easiest setup for the restaurant because

We came in earlier today and overall had a good experience, the young lady up front with the tattoos was kind and helped up easily navigate their new menu. When we walked in there was a small group of people in front of us, we could over hear someone in the kitchen obviously getting frustrated with something, they were very loudly expressing annoyance. Not very professional in my opinion. But when our food came out, it was delicious and the sides were the perfect portion. While we didn’t like what we heard in the back, I didn’t want to take away from the overall experience we got today. Great food and great service from the face that greets you when you walk in.

We were driving north and saw this BBQ place. The brisket was excellent. Great flavor, not too much smoke. There are several house made BBQ sauces to choose from, but I favored the house BBQ sauce. Corn bread is sticky, but I like it that way. Very friendly service. The venue area was huge. We will be back!

Stopped by for the first time and had the worst experience. I ordered the chicken and two sides. It came out super quick and soon as I cut the chicken open, blood started gushing out. I returned the tray and told the lady that it was not done, she immediately defended her Cooking and said that it’s smoked chicken so it’s gonna look pink, I told her no ma’am I cut it open and blood came gushing out. She took the tray back and asked me if I had one or something else, but I declined because there was an attitude when grabbing the tray back and telling me that it was supposed to be pink after she realized that it was blood she then agreed with me that it was definitely indeed blood. The vibe had been ruined and asked for a refund

My wife and I came in last night to see Borderline, we walked inside to get food and the lobby was PACKED. We placed our order with Taylor and she was an absolute delight! She answered all of our questions and even though the restaurant was packed full of hungry people she made sure we didn't feel rushed and just all around gave us amazing service. Even with everyone in there getting food everything came out fast, fresh, and tasting outstanding! The outside area had a great atmosphere and plenty of heaters to keep warm. This place truly is a hidden gem, and I strongly recommend this place!
