Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant and Pizza 🍕

I was very disappointed in my chimichanga , Chipotle sauce and chips were good my drink was good . Rice and beans weren't bad. But what I got served today was more like egg rolls there was no sauce no cheese or anything on my chimichanga , very plan I was hoping for a good meal unfortunately that's not what I got and the people there were very nice its unfortunate.

We needed a lunch break between Rochester and NYC on Labor Day. Many restaurants were closed. I’m glad we found this one. It was clean, the food was good, and portions were large. The horchata is a huge 32 fl oz for $5. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. The pozole rojo was savory and very filling. It came with two tostadas. We were very full. Service was friendly.

My wife and I wanted some Mexican food and came across Cinco de Mayo Mexican Restaurant.  We stopped in about 12:30 pm. The place was nice and clean, even the restrooms. The chips and salsa were fresh and good. The salsa had a touch of spice in it. I ordered water and my wife ordered a fresh agua de Tamarindo. Her drink was nice and refreshing. Just to her liking. We ordered a nacho supreme al pastor(pork) and a shrimp cocktail for starters. I ordered a Bistec Encebollado as an entre. The shrimp cocktail was really good with lots of cilantro. A great choice on a hot day. My wife said that her Nachos al pastor was delicious, and she was very pleased with the flavors. This is my new favorite mexican spot in town. My husband and I have tried many things on the menu. Their ceviche tostadas(10/10) are Amazing and they dont skimp out on the portions. My husband is obsessed with the chiles rellenos (10/10)which comes with rice and beans. Their tlayuda(9/10) is huge and delicious. But the best thing is this restaurant serves authentic Mexican food with a charming owner and staff.
