This is the best mole in New York! The experience this restaurant provides is amazing. The food was exceptional, the drinks were delicious, the music was vibing. Hands down my favorite Mexican food restaurant in New York. In a personal note, I haven't had a michelada like that other than how my mom makes it. And I've been chasing a mole with that taste for over 20 years. Tears just down ran my face after the first bite because it tasted like my childhood. Thank you to the chef. This was an incredible dinning experience. We had the Sopa de Tortilla, Esquites, Chips and Salsa, Grilled Octopus and Mole de Carnitas.

I went here last night and left genuinely impressed. The menu is smaller than it used to be, but the food is SO good. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and you can really tell the quality went up. They also renovated the place and it looks beautiful. I never liked how it looked before and always sat outside because it felt small and dark inside, now it feels bright and inviting. The service was great. The wait staff were attentive and on top of everything, and the manager was very nice and accommodating. We had steak tacos with homemade tortillas (so good), grilled octopus which was amazing and not something I usually order, enchiladas, rice and beans, loaded chorizo fries, steak fondue, and churros with coconut ice cream. This is our new go-to Mexican restaurant for food that hits the spot and serves well made drinks. We visited Cielito a couple of weeks ago and ordered the bistec and shrimp tacos and our taste buds thanked us for it! We have also ordered the nachos the last four times we've been here, and we have not been disappointed. They were crispy, flavorful and loaded. Our margaritas were really good too and were not attenuated like in some other establishments we have been too. It is worth mentioning that the last time we were there a group was celebrating a birthday, and the staff were so authentically cheery when they brought out desert with a sparking candle and a beautiful mariachi hat for the birthday girl, that the good vibes and positive energy was catching. I came here for a drink and service did not disappoint! They also have a brunch menu which I am very excited to try out! Their vibes are definitely for that date place you might be looking for. Quite a nice space for a big group too! Coming back soon

Food was great, service was great, and the atmosphere was great. Cute little spot that has some good speciality drinks. Each one felt authentically house creations. The chicken Tinga and al pastor were comparable to la cuidad de Mexico (D.F). Lola was our server and she was attentive, kind, and understanding.
