Ciao Pasta Trattoria in San Juan Capistrano has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The calamato olives with bread were a delicious surprise, bold, briny, and super flavorful. I ordered the salmon salad; while the greens were fresh and well-dressed, the salmon was unfortunately overcooked and a bit dry. That said, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu.

This was a truly 5 star experience. From the moment we entered to when we left everything was amazing. First off the atmosphere is amazing. There was plenty of space it was easy to talk and it was a beautiful setting. I recommend sitting outside if you can! Next is the amazing service. Truly the waitress we had was one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. She was so nice to everyone and truly made our experience so amazing. I don’t know her name but we went on 6/24/25 at around 1pm. Lastly was the amazing food. So many options! You will find something you love! The food came out fast and tasted delicious!

My wife and I went with our toddlers on a Monday night and we were blown away by how delicious the food was, how attentive the service was, and in general what a fantastic experience it was eating here. Anyone with two small children knows how stressful it can be trying to take them out to eat, but Ciao Pasta did everything to make us comfortable, and the kids had a great time…And they ate all their food! (Specially made off menu for them, offered by the server) I can’t praise this place high enough. The caprese salad and ravioli were out of this world good. Compliments to the chef and the service manager.

As a big fan of various Italian foods, the whole cuisine line just gets me - but it’s often difficult to find myself surprised. At Ciao Pasta Trattoria, I came first hand to experience why this restaurant is so highly rated and regarded by people I trust when it comes to food. Everything here was just truly delicious and the service experience was so well done that I came back the following weekend for yet another meal. I would try anything here, and the lovely and leafy patio makes this a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine with good friends over incredible food.

SO SO SO YUMMY! All the appetizers were so amazing. Definitely get the Calamari, just the right amount of breading (make sure to save the sauce for the bread). The appetizers come so fast, they came before we ordered our main course. If you don’t come, you’ll regret it! It’s so good!🍝😋
