Ciaccia Pizza and Focaccia

Damn....I mean, damn. Sandwich (Thief) was so good. The quality of the finicchiona was superb, as were all other ingredients. Bread...wonderful Got a piece of Roman-style pizza as well...coz, I had no choice....pesto and stracciatella ....amazing slice. The dough...so crispy and tasty. Glad I finally got here. Looking forward to trying all the sandwiches and pizzas!

Ciaccia is a brand new Roman-style pizza and schiacciata sandwich spot in Belmont. We came later in the day and found the schiacciata bread was hard/difficult to chew for our sandwiches. The pesto on the le fair had too much garlic and acidity for me. But the service is very friendly and they have great patio seating to enjoy your food!

Absolutely fantastic sandwiches and food. What sets this place apart is the quality of the schiattiaca bread. This is the closest thing to a true Roman eatery I've ever seen. Definitely worth the drive from Richmond!

We just returned from Italy and the sandwiches at Ciaccia are just like ones we had there-so delicious. The pizza is also amazing! There is some good pizza in Charlottesville but I think Ciaccia's may the best. Their crust is magically crispy and chewy while staying thin. It is incredible!!

The sandwiches are amazing! We had the bionda and the straccia. Sandwiches are all $12 and they also do pizza by weight. It’s all outdoor seating with Belle next door which is perfect for a nice spring day!
