Chisai Sushi Club is a small but cozy gem in San Francisco. The intimate setting makes the experience feel special, and they offer omakase-style dining at a very reasonable price. I had the Chisai course while my husband ordered the Oki, and every piece was outstanding. The fish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The chef was super friendly and took the time to introduce each dish, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The nigiri was so good that I couldn’t resist ordering extra pieces at the end. Definitely make a reservation — it doesn’t seem like they take walk-ins. This is a new favorite spot that’s officially going into my go-to restaurant notebook. 🍣✨
Fantastic experience! Treated my girlfriend here for her birthday and got "The Chisai" omakase set menu for $120 which included oyster, salad, sashimi, 12 piece nigiri, temaki, and dessert. Favorites: 1. Seared salmon 2. Sea bream with sea salt flakes 3. Albacore We sat at the counter. The restaurant had a dimly lit, intimate ambience, and the chef was very nice and quiet. The restaurant only sat about 16 people. Would definitely come back!
Went there for my wife's birthday dinner with our oldest kid. We got two chisai and the oki (more expensive option, by $30). The place is small, and nice. Good spacing between tables. The service was great, both the servers would let you know where the fish from and the sauce. For the price, the quality and amount of food was totally worth it. My only minor quibble is that most of the nigiri and sashimi also felt a bit more oversauced. However, most of the sauces were quite unique and different, so a different style that kinda worked. My kid loved the meal Definitely worth a visit
Props to Jesse for the best omakase we’ve ever had. I’d say the pictures are the highlight- but honestly the whole meal was delicious and there was no bad or “just ok” dish. Delicious down to the tiny salad tomato. Sat at the counter and ordered the Chisai with people who ordered the Oki. Everyone left happy and wanting to come back!
Great experience, great tasting fish. Would recommend. A bit on the expensive side for the type of fish you get. The style is more on the experimental side rather than tranditional which I normally don't enjoy as much but I did.
