Chute's Family Restaurant

We tried this place because we were staying in town at an Airbnb near there. So glad we did. There were 7 of us and we all loved our food choices. The chicken fried steak was very tender, the gravy was flavorful and not too salty. The star of the dish were the beans. They were so absolutely delightful. Their bread was fresh and flavorful as well. Most got the English muffins and one tried the honey maple. All were fantastic! The hash’s were good as well. I got the hunters hash with thinly sliced steak, it tasted like a deconstructed Philly Cheesesteak. The portions are large and the place was shockingly affordable. I think we paid just over $100 for the 7 of us. The only critique is the wait. They are busy on weekends. But again, there were 7 of us, and it’s one of few breakfast spots arou

You know when the line is out the door you have picked the right place !!! We were traveling home and wanted a hearty breakfast for the road, we had a short wait , the sweetest server and a delicious omelet! Prices are reasonable and the typical diner was just what we were looking for!

Brought the girlfriend out to Chutes Family Restaurant Breakfast and Lunch and got the worst breakfast ever. I ordered corned beef with toast and 2 eggs scrambled. the girlfriend ordered a simple breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg, cheese) with a small order of hash browns. My scrambled eggs tasted just like a fish fillet (no joke). The corned beef hash was nothing but fat. the girlfriends egg on her breakfast sandwich also tasted like fish along with her hash browns. Told the waitress about it. Then was told they could only take 25% off my meal. Mind you I only took one bite of the eggs and a couple bites of the corned beef. Needless to say, we won't be back. Disgusting to say the least.

Shoots has amazing food and service. I go there often with my wife. When fight training I eat a specific diet and they always cater to that and put it in the way for me to get the best deal when its not right on the menu. Even when we bring the entire family, always quick and amazing. Deserve 10 stars!

Chutes is a must visit if your in the Windham area. Only open till 1pm it is a great breakfast place. Cozy atmosphere, though typically a bit busy. Waitresses are always polite, helpful, and just generally super nice. Food is very good 😋, prices are pretty low but quality is excellent. Proportions are decently big as well.
