Church's Texas Chicken

Ms. Quadravius was a very attentive and accurate server. The food came out in less than 5 minutes, and the fried chicken was delicious. I really like this place.

Update: I had to come back and repost this review because my original one was mysteriously removed, and somehow the opposite version appeared in its place. That alone speaks volumes. Instead of trying to cover up poor service, it would be wiser for management to focus on treating customers with respect and integrity. Accountability builds trust, not deleting honest feedback. Now onto my experience. This was my second visit to this Church’s Chicken on Cleveland Avenue, and unfortunately, it confirmed everything I felt the first time. The manager on duty, a Black woman, showed absolutely no patience or professionalism toward me as a paying customer. Absolutely the worst church's chicken I've ever had in my entire life. Over cooked. Not seasoned. At all. Forgot my biscuit. Tea tasted like syrup. The ONLY thing edible was the mashed potatoes and pepper. This is why I hate using delivery food service cause I swear they threw garbage 🗑 in the box and sent it out.

The worst service I have ever had in my fifty years of living. The cashier was on her phone the whole time she was taking my order. I asked for mixed chicken. They gave me only dark meat saying that there was no white meat in the store. She turned around and gave me cold old fries. And gave me a drink with no ice. Next time, I would rather starve than ever stop here again.

Very disappointing experience. I arrived at this Church’s Chicken at 1:50 PM and the doors were locked. The cook clearly saw me and immediately signaled for the door not to be opened. When I went to the window, the young lady told me the front register was “broken” and that they were drive-thru only. I explained that I don’t have a car and asked if I could walk through the drive-thru since that was the only option. I was told no. The situation felt dishonest and unwelcoming. As a result, I took my business to Popeyes instead. Customer service needs serious improvement.
