Chubby's Restaurant

Needed to try something new, and one of the 5 Mexican restaurants in town wasn't going to cut it. I took my 2 little boys to Chubby's, hoping for delicious food, knowing I was taking a risk. The food did not disappoint! Even my 7 + 3 year old kiddos loved the Pad Thai and Peanut Butter noodles. The approachable menu has a small variety of fusion foods, leaning into Mac-n-cheese combos. Again, our more Thai choices were tasty! As the only diners, the vibe was a bit desolate. The space is big, and it needs people dining in it, and some warmth, to make it feel right! Clear outdoor signage will also help, big time. Service was fantastic. Food was fantastic. We will be returning soon, and adding it to our take-out list.

Fun fusion restaurant of Americana and Vietnamese favorites. Great menu and service. Food is elevated with nice presentation and garnish, tastes fresh and cooked to order. We had a great time. Note: there is no sign for the restaurant on the outside of the building yet- the building says PhoEver 21 and the inside foyer says eggrolls. The waitstaff were so nice and met us in the parking lot to let us know we were at the right spot.

I got the PHO, felt the broth didn't have much depth. They have a in house made beef paste to add. The paste helped but over all it was kinda bland. It didn't have the hearts of the person making it cooked into it.. The restaurant is huge but clean. The staff was awesome. Just wish the Pho was better. 4 star on the Atmosphere because the dining area was so huge that it didn't have that warm feeling, it felt like I was in a gymnasium.

My husband and I went for lunch and it was okay. We had the sampler as an appetizer and got our wings with the dry rub flavoring. The wings were REALLY good - good flavor, crispy outside with juicy inside. The crabby ragoons were soft/soggy but had a good flavor, and the egg roll was good. My husband got the crabby patty and he really enjoyed it. The patty was big and the crabby ragoon went well with it. My peanut sauce pasta did not look appetizing and the noodles were overcooked. The flavor was okay but wasn't great. Great place for wings and burgers but I won't get pasta next time.

I ordered the Korean Mac & Cheese, and it was supremely delicious. Came with a group of appx. 15 people, and our service was great, although there was only one other group (I don't know what the service is like during high-volume times) Definitely would eat here again, and would recommend.
