Chubby Dog Coffee Gaming Bar

The barista's are always wonderful and welcome pleasant atmosphere. Great selection of games to play. Or if you just wanna chill read a book or play on your phone that's welcome too.

Initially I liked the vibes and retro video game feel. The murals are visually eye catching and the shop has a nice aesthetic. I love the old video games theme and options available. However, with that being said, the quality of the coffee and ownership is extremely lacking. I would not recommend if you are looking for a good coffee. The owner should take some responsibility for putting out a not so great product and stop making disrespectful claims and accusations when given a constructive review. Who charges over $8 for an iced latte without any flavor or cream? Absolutely abhorrent product and ownership, clearly. Might as well go across the street to a better small business or up the road to Starbucks. I’d still avoid Dunkin though.

Such a good vibe! Feels like the 90s, very retro. Comfortable & the coffee, cookie & muffins are real good too. I cant wait to try their cocktails.

Must stop in! If you are ever in the "Quite Corner" of Connecticut, stop in to the Chubby Dog for a coffee or more. We stopped in for a coffee and a quick snack and we thoroughly pleased. Great service, great drinks and great snacks.

Community is something scarce here in the quiet corner. Adam and his team provide a welcoming and inclusive environment that is desperately needed. Chubby Dog isn't the largest venue but the diversification of events and communities that have ties here is impressive. You feel the local community is reflected and has a voice here. It's approachable in a way that most bars and hang outs aren't. My time here in the quiet corner is made better being apart of the Chubby Dog community.
