My favorite KBBQ spot in Virginia! ChoSun Hwaro offers amazing meat quality and Korean dishes at an amazing price! The service here is stellar, and both the wait staff and the owner were so pleasant to talk to. I came here for dinner one evening and we got their ChoSun combo package with four different meats for 4 people, as well as their bibim naengmyeon, corn cheese, beef tartare, and dolsot bibimbap. Everything was amazing quality and so so delicious. The meats were juicy and well-marinated. The portions were great and the combo came with doenjang jjigae and steamed egg (which were both delicious—I loved how they added cheese to the steamed egg). The corn cheese was the perfect sweetness and the beef tartare was also another favorite. Would love to come back!

Service was excellent! Our server was quick, professional, and very friendly honestly one of the best servers I’ve ever had. After we ordered, he came over and started grilling the meat for us right at the table. He was like a grill master, cooking everything with precision and cutting each piece into perfect bite-sized portions. The pork belly and steak came out with a beautiful crust and amazing flavor. The side dishes were also spot on kimchi had the right level of spice and everything tasted fresh. The food was excellent overall, but what really made the experience 10/10 was the server. Truly outstanding service that elevated the whole meal. Highly recommend this place for both food and experience!

An a la carte/combo only kbbq spot, serving quality, premium meats - all very juicy and tender! But, given that this spot is more of an upscale kbbq restaurant, they can also give you a run for your money if you're not careful with how much you order... Although their meats were all delicious, I was a huge fan of their banchan and seafood pancake, which was thin and crispy. Loved to snack on pieces in between cooking meats :) The bulgogi tower was an interesting one... works as a standalone ngl, and also comes with the soup, glass noodles and onion which was pretty neat. For a Friday night and for a large group (9 people) we made a reservation ahead of time, and they were able to accomodate us right away with no wait. I ordered the japchae (Korean-style glass noodles with vegetables and beef) to go, and I really enjoyed it. The flavors were delicious and well-balanced, even as takeout. I also really like their Korean BBQ. It’s always satisfying. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
