Excellent place with affordable food! We come from New York City for these great deals and delicious meals when we’re in NJ. The wait time might be a bit, but you’re guaranteed a fresh meal. The chicken meal with the rice and fries is always tasty, not too much salt, just enough for those with specific health needs. There’s a good portion size and great sauces that they give. Your meal will literally be steaming hot, it can be packed or slow and you’d have the freshest meal. Worth the wait and travel, for less than $20 you can’t go wrong if you have a family to feed for dinner or you want a simple meal for a lunch. Wow !! Garlic chicken the best I ever had and they have the real chips .. Awesome place and always great food the ribs and other chicken are incredible... always a pleasure to order from Them and it's always hot even when delivered !!! I do not make many reviews for any place but for the food it's incredible and very reasonably priced

Why I won’t support Chop Spot BBQ anymore? On 7/31/2025 I placed an order at a restaurant I often patronize. Due to my consistent health challenges I unfortunately ended up in the hospital and was unable to eat nor check my order. This morning as I was preparing to be able to eat my meal I noticed that my order was incorrect. I then called the establishment to inform them of the error and explained why I was not able to check my order. I was originally told the manager was not in and that they would give me a call. Hours passed. No call. I followed up with my call and informed again that the manager wasn’t in initially but then placed on a brief hold. After the hold, I was told that due to the fact it was two days after the purchase date that “nothing could be done”. I am done patronizing

Called in pickup order and was told 20 minutes. Arrived, paid at counter and waited as many customers showed up, gathered their orders and left. After 40 minutes, checked with cashier to see where my order was, and she pointed to an empty bag at end of counter. After an hour, I was still standing there as crew began to close up shop, my empty bag still sitting on counter. Crew seemed surprised that there was still an open order. It was eventually filled almost an hour after promised delivery time with absolutely nothing offered in compensation for completely ignoring me other than a shrug of the shoulders. Have always enjoy the food, but this experience with the service has me resigned that I won't be back.

I’d avoid this place at all costs. We were regular customers for about 8years, but the last three times we ordered, the food was never delivered. Every time we called to ask where the order was, our calls were ignored (they can see who’s calling on their system), and when we did get through, we were lied to. The customer service is honestly terrible. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Clark BBQ and Craven BBQ are both less than 10 minutes away and are better in every way.
