The best authentic Mexican tacos I’ve had in Utah. Flavorful & in a hole in a wall spot in this plaza. Carne Asada tacos were deliciously seasoned & fresh. Agua Fresca limon is refreshing. I also like the fact there is a little mini condiment concession to take your own authentic Mexican toppings such as the sauces, etc.
Place is so good! It’s salt lake food but in Farmington, don’t come expecting to eat bean and cheese burritos or cheese quesadillas(for you white folks, if you prefer that style of food, this place is NOT for you) this is real Mexican authentic food, not no Americanized Mexican junk food this is the real deal. Pastor is soooo tasty, it taste just like the one I had in Cabo’s Mexico, Asada is so good, their burritos are huge. Their birria might be the best birria I’ve had in Utah, BY FAR!!
My wife had the quessabirria tacos which were amazing and I had the birria Ramen which was also amazing. I even took the leftover soup home and added more Ramen to it the next day and it was still amazing! And the loaded fries...Awesome!
Fri 7:30pm We decided to try something different & chose Chanchi’s. The food was so good, I forgot to take pictures! Had a good experience, & a few hiccups. But we’ll definitely be back! Easy parking, & when we arrived, there were only 2 other patrons. I think 10 people got food while we were there. That was surprising, because the food is delicious! We got tacos & tried a few meats: carnitas (good), vampiro al pastor (excellent), quesabirria (excellent), & the fish taco - it was to die for!! I’m going to dream about that one! Prices were very reasonable for the amount of meat & quality ingredients. Chips were hot & fresh, salsa & guac tasty - however for the price, I expected more chips. We ordered 1 quesabirria but the receipt showed we got charged for two. Decided not to complain. I wa
Was craving churros and tacos one evening a found this place open. A good little taco shop in Farmington. The dining room is large. Not a fan of the lighting and bare walls, doesn't seem to jive with a Mexican restaurant. Luckily, that was a minor inconvenience. The food was excellent! The tacos were just like you'd get at a street truck, and the quesadilla was great. The churros were good as well. Just the right size and not overly sweet. I liked that they had lots of meat selections, like cabeza, al pastor and carnitas!
