We went to Chloé for Valentine’s dinner and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional—attentive, warm, and made the night feel special without being overbearing. You can really tell the food creative director and chef put a lot of thought into every dish. Nothing missed on flavor. The scallops were absolutely amazing, the dumplings and tabbouleh were packed with incredible flavor, and our main entrées were outstanding—the short ribs were superb and the free-form pasta was cooked perfectly and full of depth. Overall, an amazing dining experience. Highly recommend and would absolutely return.

I recently dined at Chloe, and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Every dish felt like a completely new culinary experience. The cauliflower dish, in particular, didn’t look especially remarkable at first, but it delivered an incredible range of flavors — tender and delicate, with unique aromas and subtle seasoning, while the nutty pine nuts added wonderful depth and richness. The Wagyu Beef & Kimchi Dumplings were also outstanding. The fried dumplings were perfectly crispy, and the seasoned cabbage served alongside them had a sweet-and-tangy flavor that reminded me of Korean bibim noodles, adding a refreshing contrast to the richness of the dish. The Berkshire pork loin was well cooked and paired beautifully with tender vegetables. The crispy bacon hidden among the vege

Chloe has become one of my favorite restaurants, and I make it a point to visit at least once a month. It is one of those rare places where consistency truly stands out. The food never disappoints, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The flavors are always well balanced, the presentation is thoughtful, and the quality is evident from the first bite to the last. My personal favorite is the whole fried fish. It is absolutely amazing. The texture is perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining tender and flavorful on the inside. It is seasoned just right, not overpowering, and it pairs well with the sides and sauces that accompany it. It feels like a dish that is prepared with care rather than rushed out of the kitchen. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, making it

Went with a group of friends and we were all thoroughly impressed. Everything we ordered was delicious and had an excellent balance of flavors and textures. Highlights were the chicken, cauliflower, dumplings, and cookies. Without a doubt one of the better restaurants I’ve eaten at in DC.

Okay look, we think this place is probably great on other days, but having the ONLY option for vday be a $120 prix fixe without alerting people of that beforehand is crazy work — and the food was not even remotely worth that much. (Our server told us with some condescension that an email went out, but my partner is (a) extremely in tune with her email and (b) searched widely and did not find a single email.) Frankly, I would’ve been annoyed by paying more than $60 each for this food. The service was frankly mediocre, the entrees were food I could eat anywhere (and not remotely Mediterranean or Asian either — one was mushroom lasagna and one was short rib) and my scallop, though delicious, was overcooked. If I pay $120 against my will I would like a scallop that is properly cooked. Overall
