Chisago Lakes Area Library

Enjoyed seeing the beautiful Christmas tree very much!! Also our grandson loved the find-it game of Christmas items. Staff is wonderful. Storytime, when offered, is exceptional. Librarian keeps many many kids engaged and that is NOT easy. Totally organized in every way. Very very impressed by this library!

I have came on here before to write a review saying how cold the building was in January. Now, I have to say that it's quite annoying when the two older folks behind the front desk are sitting yapping their mouths off, even though I'm the only person in the library on a computer, and I'm trying to get work done. I get that I'm the only one here, but I always expect a library to be dead quiet and people whispering. Not talking in a normal voice. I suggest moving the computers in a different area in the library, because I don't understand how people don't get stuff done with employees behind the counter yapping and talking loudly. Act like it's 2000 where libraries used to be dead silent. This isn't the only library I've gone to where the employees don't respect the library space. Quite ann

I don't usually come here, but I like how they have a collection box in the front for glasses and hearing aids. And at one time had a Christmas present collection for books for children. Also, they had at one time a book sale on occasion.

A very satisfying experience.
