Chippewa Falls Public Library

This is less of a review and more of a thank you to the wonderful staff at the library. We are from out of town and stopped in for the kids craft day. We had fun with the activities and chatting a bit with the librarians. Libraries like this are literally here for everyone. I'm so very happy to pay taxes to support libraries so that everyone can access the resources within.

This was my first time at the Chippewa Falls public library! I spoke to someone in the youth department (Jessie?) about locating a Children’s book and they were incredibly helpful and kind. They set aside the book for me even (I just needed confirmation it was up there but she went the extra mile). When I arrived to pick up the book I stopped in the bathroom and loved their sign about hand washing (see picture) and then my experience went down hill from there. I got help from a person at the front desk who was nice but seemed like they were possibly overwhelmed/being pulled in multiple directions so I felt bad bugging them, but I appreciated their help. Very nice place to read, study and work. Staff is friendly and helpful. Place was quiet and not busy on a Friday morning/afternoon.

Staff all weird and not very friendly all of the other local libraries have friendlier staff that are way more helpful. Think I’m going to start getting my books from Ec or bloomer . Can’t believe how I was talked today.

I drove 35 minutes from my dorm to borrow books here because every library in my immediate vicinity is practically barren. The librarians were incredibly helpful and nice. Honestly I should've been forbidden from borrowing books because at the time I had 3 books checked out from a different library months past their due date, but they let me check out what I needed on the basis that I return my overdue books ASAP. Out of fear of disappointing them, I have not had a single overdue book since!! Nothing but love 💙 please visit this library
