Chipotle Mexican Grill

Was so happy they built one of these in GL, was tired of having to deal with traffic anytime I wanted chipotle but I was skeptical when I saw the reviews from this place. I went in and was stunned by the cleanliness and the hospitality. The portion sizes are great too, got a double chicken and the staff had trouble closing the lid. I highly reccomend this place if your skeptical :)

For opening day this wasn’t a really good sign of a good start. First off I ordered TWO different orders. Me a burrito and her a bowl. Both portion sizes were just so bad. This burrito was skinny as hell! All rice and just a dab of meat in here. HOOK US UP! Then hers was just equally as sad as mine. Whole lot more cheese than anything else. Nice people, but man let’s leave the small portion away from this location and then I’ll be back

Decent experience with a newly opened chipotle. Forgot my cup in the bag and didn't shove my food on the shelf for pickup but standard growing pains. (Note Smaller portion than usual. And long line) I believe this location will get better overtime especially as they get more customers especially with proximity to the college campus nearby and it's online order only drive thru

I’ve gone here multiple times since it opened and it’s honestly a hit or miss with the food and customer service - and it’s usually a miss. I just left after complaining to the manager on duty Matthew about the terrible customer service I received from Amayrani, who rang up my order wrong and said she couldn’t do anything about it after talking with her friends ahead of me for over 5 minutes. Matthew said “well I can’t fire her so do you want a free bowl” to my complaint while she sat there laughing. On top of the horrible customer service; the food almost always tastes like it’s been sitting out for a while and the portions are insanely small to where you almost always have to ask for double if you just want a normal portion at any other chipotle. If you can, avoid this location and drive

Just came from Chipotle in Grayslake. I sent my wife in to order a steak burrito with just onion and cilantro, she came out with the burrito, but she said they don't serve the burrito with onion and cilantro, but they can add guacamole, beans, etc. When I got home I called the restaurant to complain to the manager, all I got was a website to complain. What kind of "Authentic" Mexican restaurant does not have cilantro and onions available for a burrito ?? Also, the meat was as hard as a rock ! They overdo the cumin for flavor, I didn't even eat half of it, I threw it away. I'm Mexican, I know what a good burrito should be prepared , I'm going to tell all my friends, stay away !!!!
