Chinese Buffet

Dined here with a small group from church on 2/8/26 around 11 am. I personally had not been to the Chinese Buffet since Covid began, nearly 7 years ago now, believe it or not. However, I remember it as being a decent place to dine with a good amount of selection and fair prices. Upon entering, I was quite surprised to see that their pricing was still reasonable, however I didn't understand the upcharge for Sunday vs. the weekly buffet price as nothing on that Sunday buffet reflected an upcharge type dish in the slightest. Upon my first trip up to the buffet, I was a bit surprised to see that literally not one item on that buffet had changed in the past 7 years. 🚨🚨 DO NOT EAT HERE (UNSAFE FOOD) 🚨🚨 Food is served unsafe temperature, we came in a bit later due to work and the workers/cooks were pointing at us and the door mocking for us to leave(we never came back since this moment), dirty tables and areas everywhere. Again do not come here. Ended up with food poisoning!

This is the best Chinese buffet in the metro-east imo. Always a lot of good options, they keep stocking fresh food regularly, the place is very clean, and there is plenty of seating and parking. Love it.

Food is always good, hot, and fresh. The restaurant is consistently clean, and there’s a great selection. This is our family’s go-to for dinner in Alton!

Food was pretty fresh and was hot during my visit. I enjoyed the meal. Staff was quick to remove any old plates.
