China Town Buffet

If I could leave a negative 100 star review for this place, I absolutely would. It looks like they chose quantity over quality. As they have an outstanding amount of choices, it is just not delicious choices. I would recommend that you don't come here. It is not the second best Chinese food place in Bismarck, it wouldn't even rank in the top 100 if they had a 100 places. Honestly, the only decent thing I found is their cream cheese wontons. Those are delightful. I got a spring roll and it was doughy. How the hell do you end up with a doughy spring roll? I've never had any place mess up a spring roll. The coffee was so bad I literally spat it out the minute it was in my mouth. I have tasted some swamp swill and I can tell you, I have never, ever spat it out like I did this. The peppered chi

New shrimp, new class on the buffet, and fluffy egg foo young! The rangoons were a little hard but overall an excellent experience. Dessert bar was great with fruits and pudding!

I would not recommend this buffet. Every variety of breaded chicken was soggy and swimming in sauce with zero crispiness. Even worse, the beef and broccoli appeared to be leftovers; the broccoli looked old and dated. I honestly regret eating the food after seeing the quality, and I’m just hoping I don't get sick. Definitely not worth it.

Usually this place is pretty decent. There is no service generally. It’s all do it yourself. But they put a giant fresh fillet of salmon out so I grabbed a piece. It was not cooked through. Granted this was dinner time but that’s a pretty big risk to take even while busy.

This used to be a decent buffet, but sadly it's far from what it once was. From the way the food was prepared to the taste of it, not to mention the cleanliness of the stations, all were sloppy and terrible. Sad to see a former frequent haunt lose it's standards.
