China Taste

Got to go which was prepared very fast. China Tastes have the best egg rolls I have ever eaten! I can't identify the flavor, but it's tasty and delicious. The inner cabbage is cooked perfectly which adds to the flavor and texture. I don't have an egg roll photo, because they were devoured immediately! The pork in the the Roast Pork Lo Mein was tender and tasty, and the noodles and vegetables had a nice sauce that also flavored the rice well. I would definitely return for either of these dishes. The Chicken Egg Foo Young dish was dry, and had no apparent sauce. The roasted or rotisserie chicken was plentiful and tasty with the egg and vegetables, but the egg patties tasted more like a breaded chicken dish. After eating about half, the sauce was discovered in the bottom of the take out

I order their tofu dishes at least once a week. I’ve tried them all and they’re all delicious 🤌 So flavorful and the portions could easily last me four meals. Can’t speak on the meat dishes because I’ve never had them, but def recommend China Tastes if you’re vegetarian! Also, if you call to get take out, the order is usually ready in 15-20 mins, but maybe I’ve just been lucky.

Their food never misses. Even when they’re slammed during the dinner rush, they go above and beyond to make sure every order is handled with care. The food is always so fresh and delicious that it’s worth every minute of the wait.

Best regular Chinese in the city of Roanoke. Best general tso, Best egg roll, Best everything. It was kind of a surprise that it was so good, basic Chinese isn't always this good. It's worth a drive to it.

China Tastes was a pleasant surprise to me in that it’s located close by and the food is really good. I love Chinese food and this is the place to get good tasting food with a good portion amount (that’s important to me). It’s strictly take out and that’s perfect for me, eating a good meal and watching TV at the same time –can’t get any better–. If you make your own rice at home you can use leftovers for a couple more meals. Now that’s a deal. 5 stars all the way 
