China Palace

We are two adults and one small child. We ordered the Orange Chicken which was crispy, hot, and flavorful. The Cashew Chicken came with large tasty cuts of green bell pepper and onion. The Chicken Fried Rice was what one would expect. Crab Puffs were the last thing to arrive at our table, but it was worth the wait to have them hot and fresh. We left satisfied with our 3 entrees and appetizer, but we felt the portions should have been larger. Would return for lunch.

Our waitress was so happy and kind, we loved how big her smile was! Our food was tasty and affordable, which is a HUGE plus! If you want even more bang for your buck, go during lunch hours 11-3. For dinner, you have to order a side of rice, but I believe it comes with it during lunch.

My grandma’s favorite spot for Chinese because prices are reasonable and options are extensive. Eat wonton soup was plenty for us to share a couple of bowls each. Salt & Pepper chicken not as impressive but decent. Overall a good spot in downtown Fairfield for Chinese owned by a lovely local immigrant family (which I prefer to support over some corporate Chinese company that owns Whataburger. #supportlocal)

Food was good! We went for lunch... I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, fried rice and egg roll... my friend Orange Chicken, steamed white rice and egg roll. While, all the food tasted really good... the fried rice literally was only fried. There was nothing else in it... no veggies... nothing. And the egg roll was only cabbage... nothing else. And no pineapple in the sweet and sour chicken... which is what i'm used to. Again all the food tasted good, just missing ingredients.

I recently ordered and purchased the fried prawns and what I received was an extremely small shrimp, that had been butterflied and was heavily breaded. This was very disappointing to return home to discover that was had been had. Don’t waste your time and especially your money at this establishment. Take a look at the photo to compare the actual size of the shrimp and breaded that’s used to hide it. This place is a total rip off….beware!!
