My goto place for american Chinese food since middle school. Unfortunately, I don't live in the area anymore, so from time to time, when I get a chance, I order from here. The restaurant itself is a time capsule that hasn't changed much other than the price. Typically, I avoid any closed kitchen carryout as they usually come plagued with some surprises. Overall, cleanliness is good other than from time to time there is a notable sewer smell. There also seems to be a rotation of employees noted that the usual guy whom intake order (usually rather passively rude) was not in today or the past few visit. That's a plus!.

I have only gotten carryout, but the restaurant is clean and the service is great. Their won ton soup and moo goo gai pan are excellent 👌

Extremely good quality food have been coming here for several years. Pricey but very good so once in awhile is okay. Their triple delight is a delight to have. I highly recommend. Great hospitality as well everything is very clean and well stocked. They even have hot tea available.

Quality of Food + Service varies depending on whose Manahing or OnDuty, from our exp. We live @Leisure World. Used to order from ChinaKing alor- yrs ago.. Used to get friendly Svc when ordering& Picking up. But since 2020 we noticed (- )change in Quality of Svc & Dinner entrees i.e: Phoenix+ Dragon= runny sauces, Overcookd chix & Undercooked veggies.. Since 2020 whether we Pickdup or Walkd-in we noticd Staff becoming rushed, impatient +/or indifferent... What used to be Our Favs: HappyFamily, EggFooYung varieties, Phoenix+ Dragon startd tasting Same way CK's Service changed... We havent been since Apr2024, maybe CK has new Ownership or Mgt since then- &maybe Theyre back to being Good now.. Lets hope so since their prices also went up a/r 15-22% Since 2020 too😐...

I tried: Singapore Rice Noodles (without pork) and it tasted heavenly. It was amazing. Very well seasoned. The pork makes it taste different from what I recall, and it isn't my preferred way to eat it. Shrimp w/ brocolli: amazing! Wish it had more shrimp, but the flavor is there. Pair it with some seafood fried rice and it is a slap. Seafood Fried Rice: overall one of my favorite fried rice dishes in the wheaton-glenmont and aspenhill areas. Very well balances. When paired with the Shrimp & Broccoli it shines. Beef & Stick: Unique beef sticks, I really enjoy it with my sister. The taste isn't exaggerated but its a hit or miss for everyone. Surefire hit for me though.
