China King Buffet

We tried China King for the first time and overall, it was a good experience. When we walked in, the staff cleaning the front gave us a seat right away, within a minute. She wasn’t exactly friendly, but maybe that’s just how she normally is. They had a good variety of food, mostly focused on Chinese dishes, which makes sense given the name China King Buffet. Some trays weren’t hot or freshly refilled at first, but I noticed they rotated the food and brought out fresh ones shortly after, which I appreciated. My favorites were the green beans and broccoli. This place has been my favorite since I was a kid. The owners are super kind and welcoming as always. The food is immaculate. I do recommend 100%

Food was great. It is hard to find places that have peanut butter chicken this location had it and was very good. Buffet was well stocked and fresh. Tried other dishes I never heard of and were also good. Staff was always cleaning as people left. Building was a warm, but A/C could have been down with heat wave.

Me and my wife have been coming here for over a decade and continue to make a trip to Fargo on a weekend just to come here. Food is always consistent and good, only thing we have noticed is they changed egg rolls but the new ones are good, they make smaller portions which keeps the food fresh, all the employees are prompt with cleaning up messes and tables and are friendly. Occasionally other guests can get a little loud but nothing outrageous and easy to tune out. The music they play give me and the wife a chuckle every now and again but the general atmosphere is welcoming comfortable.
