China House

I need to start off by saying that no one in the world is more picky about Chinese restaurants than I am, not your crazy uncle or your grandparents. Trust me. I've searched high and low for the best in every city I've been to. I thought I found the best when I lived in Brooklyn, because of course NYC is a beacon for great Chinese food. I've since moved to Pittsburgh and was sure I would end up missing NYC and wine that there's nothing here that even comes close. That's until I found China House in Imperial based on a review from someone in a Facebook group. And then another. And then another. So I had to check it out for myself. They are nice people but the food is sub par. Fried rice has no egg, just chix and onion. It was boring. Wonton crackers were cooked in burned oil, nasty. Spring roll cabbage was soggy mush. 2nd time here and just can't recommend it to anyone.

Always quick and the food is good. Also not expensive. I saw some reviews complained about not having enough meat or the rice was plain, but I’ve only had good experiences with this place and have been lucky not to run into this, so I’m unsure what’s up with that, but regardless I like this place.

We did Take Out. Our family did several different meals. Everyone's food was great. 4 different meals and 4 very satisfying meals. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. Thank you for a very good dinner. Best Chinese food I've ever had. We will definitely be ordering from there again. Thank you for great food. !!!

I have never in my life written a bad review- first time to China house , new to the area General tso chicken was not edible, so chewy and chicken looked weird inside- almost thought it may have been undercooked, chicken fried rice was super lame and boring, the chicken strips looked boiled and almost undercooked The egg drop soup and wonton soup were good however - but will never go back
