Update - November 2022: Inflation has reached our beloved China Express and each scoop is now $1.35 😔. Still a bargain compared to most other takeout 🥡 locations. -- Original Review (January 2020) $1.00/scoop for hot Chinese food? Yes! $2.16 for a lunch size portion of Bourbon Chicken & Fresh Steamed Broccoli. Same quality food you get in the Mall food court for less than half the price.

The food was meh. Idk why the hell they put old wilted Napa cabbage in my beef fried rice. I don’t know if it was intentional but it should be listed or explained. Feels like they just made my rice without washing out whatever was leftover in the pan 🤢 I looked at the DoorDash descriptions for the ingredients featured in the rice and cabbage is not listed. So they honestly just sold me weird dirty rice. I’m never eating here again. Almost forgot to mention, they put my food into styrofoam containers (Banned in NY btw) and the hot chicken melted through the container. So I was served chicken with a side of microplastics. Yum!

The food was really good and so affordable! You can get a plate from the buffet for around $7. I ordered sautéed broccoli w/ white rice and got a buffet plate of lo mein, egg roll, butter potatoes, and fried rice! The flavors were there and the food was hot!

Amazing food every time. I ordered the general tso and shrimp Lo mein. Big portion sizes, not spicy and they don’t skimp on the ingredients. As well as being super affordable they also are consistent with every single order. Love this place and love that no matter what I order I can always say I enjoyed it.

My order was delivered. The order included Sweet and Sour Chicken. The chicken was sweet but there was no ‘sour’ part of the dish. The vegetable fried rice was brown but there were NO vegetables and it was simply a rice that was brown. Another family member ordered General Tso’s chicken. There was NOTHING hot or spicy about the chicken. It was the same taste of the other members ‘sweet and sour’ chicken. Each meal was $15. Absolute worse Chinese food I’ve had in over 40 years!!
