China Cove

China Cove was one of those places that made me stop and just stand there for a while. The cliffs, the ocean, the fog rolling in — everything felt calm and raw at the same time. Watching the waves move through the rocks and seeing birds along the cliffs was really peaceful. It’s a beautiful, quiet spot and definitely worth pulling over for.

China Cove is absolutely beautiful! The cove is stunning, with turquoise water and breathtaking natural surroundings. You can take a peaceful walk along the cliffs and enjoy the spectacular views. A true hidden gem for nature lovers!

outstanding view, you can walk through to see the seals or drive partially and walk the rest. even on a cloudy day it was beautiful.

Unique beautiful cove, no more access to the beach at the bottom

The China Cove is part of the Point Lobos Natural Reserve State Park. At first, we drove around couldn’t find this place until we decided to get in the State park and asked people there. We went on the long holiday weekend and very difficult to find the parking space; we got a spot outside the main road and walked in. The China Cove is on South side trail of the Point Lobos Natural Reserve State Park. It is a beautiful place but all the wildflowers are gone during this time in early September.
