China Buffet

This use to be my favorite place for 10 years, at $9 per person then and the food was great. But after the plandemic, things got really bad, you had to eat with plastic utensils and paper plates and no condiments like sugar for example. Now you have to pay first as soon as you walk in and at $17 per person. Now you get metal utensils and plastic plates but still no condiments, you have to ask for them. Now the food is where its bad, it isn't replaced with fresh food, it only gets replaced if its gets really low, like only a couple pieces left then they will bring it some more. The food sits out so long it starts to get hard and sauce gets thick. its almost not edible, also the food isn't very hot. If you order a la carte or any lunch plate, it won't be fresh. It will be shoveled out of the buffet bins. I ordered lunch and waited. Crab rangoon was in my order. As soon as I grabbed the bag, my son and I went to start gnoshing before heading home. You would think it would be hot, right? No. It was pretty tepid and greasy. Most of the food in our order tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. Parts of the breading on my chicken was dried out to the point of mummified. Never again.

Most of the food was COLD! Soup was warm. Not a very good selection. Chicken on the stick was dried out. Fried scallops were dried out. Ice cream was gummy/sticky. Didn't look safe to eat.

I love this resturaunt but they need bigger plates,its one of my favorites in the area but for a buffet the plates are tiny, they need to be atleast the size of the rim off a stock honda civic.

Food is always good. Service is…… different, that’s the nicest way to say that. Just be happy it’s a buffet and don’t have to talk to them.
