Chim Thai Cafe

Ordered delivery (Grubhub). The food was just ok. Overly sweet and salty, which may be fine for others. Had pad Thai, spicy beef and pepper, tom yum soup and crab rangoon. The best was the tom yum. Three nice large shrimps were perfect. The beef dish was good, but just really salty. The pad thai had some red sauce on it. Idk. Maybe it was their iteration. Really sweet and salty. It was also ok. They also tried to make the rangoon different too, but like I said it's just ok. The dip was decent tho. Had a nice kick. I mostly prefer dishes that have seasoning to enhance the main ingredients. I feel like the seasoning here competed with the main ingredients so it felt like it was masking them.

I attempted Chim Thai Cafe in Milford, MA last night. As I paged thru the menu (see attached photos), which included delights such as crab rangoon, edamame, thai tempura, seaweed salad, pho beef, Milford salad, salmon teriyaki, bulgoki, okdol bibimbap, pad thai, lo mein noodles.... You get the idea. It occurred to my exhausted brain that JUST MAYBE this was not really a thai place. Then looked around and noticed that it was all white people eating dinner, the table flowers were not a actually a dried fall arrangement, but dead in yellow, cloudy water, and then the middle aged white guy brought out the definitely not Thai food for the table near me... Super consistent, tasty Thai food at a fair price. Very friendly staff. Food usually comes out quite fast too. We usually do takeout, and end up coming here about once a month. Love the place.

Had dinner at Chim Thai last night. The ambience is great, the couple that run it are so welcoming and courteous. The food was excellent - we had the scallion pancakes, Pho chicken, Basil fried rice and the red curry. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend, We will back.

I love them so much. Every time I come here, the food is fantastic, the service is even better, and it’s always so peaceful. Also, my whole bottle of wine was $22. If you haven’t been here, or ordered one of the delivery services from them you are missing out.
