Chili's Grill & Bar

So I went to this location and for some reason or another, today was a complete disaster and very unwelcoming. We chose to dine-in. Busy as normal for a Sunday. I ordered 2 kids meals and honey Chipotle chicken sandwich with fries and requested to pay for an additional side of Mac & cheese for 1 of the kids. Now that is where the experience took a dive. I requested that the mac & cheese is the kids version due to the special needs child requesting due to texture preferences. (He won't eat anything else). So I was advised in order to get the kids mac, I would need to purchase 2 separate kids meals to accommodate the mac n tenders request by shift manager Brian. I proceeded to explain 1 of the children is special needs child and the importance of this request. The manager then responded " We

I’m giving this Chili’s a two out of five stars. The two stars are just because of the delicious dessert and staff friendliness. The service and food here was not ideal. I came today with some of my friends and was very disappointed in the experience we had. I ordered from one of their deals on the menu which came with an appetizer. I chose their chips and salsa as an appetizer and they completely forgot to bring it out. All of my other friends got their appetizers in a very timely manner, and I had to remind them about mine. For my entrée, I ordered a sirloin steak and they asked me how I wanted it cooked. I told the waitress very clearly I wanted it medium rare. It came with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. What can I say about Chili's, there a staple in many people's household. I enjoy their monthly signature margheritas, I try not to have. More than two...lol. Lately, I've been getting their triple dipper so I can cure my craving for a burger and tenders ..lol. I enjoy the southwestern egg rolls they are tasty. I usually gravitate towards their fajitas. They smell so delicious when they are bought out sizzling. I always get the shrimp fajitas but the others are great as well. If you do get the fajitas, try their honey chipotle sauce, it pairs with the fajitas very well. Looking forward to my visit this week...yummy 😋

One cannot remember when This Establishment first opened, but it was definately before 1990. That being said, I have frequented Chiles Grill and Bar over the years and it's always a satisfying experience. The current staff here in New Britain / Farmington on Hartford road is the best group of servers and bartenders to date. With Kyle at the helm as manager, he has assembled a most caring and helpful wait staff to date. By example, he shows the way to serving with excellence. I ordered the 8 oz steak and potatoes with broccoli and a sweet raspberry tea. All the food was cooked to perfection and served piping hot! With this Chilis right next to my Gym and pool, on the strip near the mall, I can already feel myself being drawn back for food, fun, and a fabulous dining experience.

The servers are really attentive! The food was really good both times we went and so was the margaritas!
