Chili-Shack Lakewood

Absolutely recommend the chorizo breakfast burrito with chili cheese sauce here. Grabbed it to go while I was running errands and it traveled really well. Go get one now!!

I’ve never had an issue with this place the 3 other times I ordered. We went tonight and grabbed our normal and went back home, my husband was half way through his burrito when he pulled a FINGER NAIL, yes a FINGER NAIL, out of his mouth from the bite he had just taken. I’ve never been so disgusted in my life and makes me feel like, we could have totally missed it any of the previous times. Idk if this was something done on purpose because we showed up an hour before close or if the cleanliness is not taken seriously here. I feel there is definitely some negligence and is a huge health violation. So I have been seeing this place on social media thought I would give it a try. When I got up to order they said they couldn't serve me because of my Raider shirt. I was ready to leave for the disrespect. 🤣🤣 I am joking I have thick skin. He did joked about it-it was all fun. We laughed. Anyway, I ordered the 4 Street tacos (asada) and the Chili shack plate. Overall the food was good. My mom is a picky eater she had the tacos and liked it. The salsas were pretty good. My would've like one green and one red salsa for her tacos, I shared my red with her 😆. The chili cheese fries were good and my tacos were good. I will definitely go back. Oh the other thing is the prices online and on their menu don't match what you get charged.

This place is amazing!!! Great staff, amazing food and huge portions!! Amazing green chili like we grew up with and not only that after a few visits I already feel like a family member very welcoming and kind all around great experience if you have come here to eat your missing out!! I gotta get my fix a few times a week so you should too!! Tell em big Mike sent ya!!
