Chic's Seafood

First off, being from DC was not sure about eating seafood from a restaurant in the mountains of Hagerstown. Let me reassure everyone that this is a spot to come to in Hagerstown. Food and service was just wonderful. I want to thank Deb for such a wonderful time and also Robbie for recommending the Chesapeake. It was truly delicious. Portions are generous and the half and half was on point. I truly recommend this place.

Everything was delicious the cream of crab soup was my favorite. I would definitely come back just for the soup alone. We shared a platter and a bowl of soup. I definitely recommend this family owned restaurant. I came back for the soup this time there was 4 of us. The fish basket was delicious. The burgers were delicious as well we had the mushroom & Swiss and bacon cheese burgers. I ordered the creamy crab chowder. It was really good. We are planning on stopping by on our way back home.

This was our first time but will not be our last. Service was welcoming as well as efficient , decor was cute and the food was hot and delicious. We got the 1pound snow crab platter with 2 sides and added a pound of king crab. All of the picture was under $140. I would call ahead just to make sure they have space, they have limited seating. (Although we made no reservations and was able to seat ourselves immediately ) They are family owned and operated 10/10 would recommend. Menu posted as well (prices were the same as of yesterday)

WOW! Date choice with hubby!! WOW! Have lived in a 17 mile radius for over 20+ years… who knew this seafood restaurant hidden gem was right in my backyard!! Check out these Maryland Blue Shell Crabs… we shared a dozen which lasted us even through the next day another meal! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS FOLKS!! A must visit when you are in Hagerstown, Maryland or anywhere in this vicinity INDEED! Sweet tea is the bomb! Check out their beverage glasses!

The crabs were well cooked and well seasoned. I went on a Thursday for all you can eat blue crabs for $39.99, the service did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive and made sure my plate stayed full. With the all you can eat crabs, you also get hush puppies, fries and or fried clam strips. I must admit, those were the best hush puppies I've ever had. My husband had a steak with a baked potato and broccoli. He said the steak was very tender, cooked as asked but could have used more flavor. I would definitely visit again.
