Chic's Beach

Always beautiful, I come here every morning before the sunrise, and it never fails to bring me joy. It's always the perfect view, even on a cloudy day.

Don't follow GPS. It will take you to someone's house instead of to the beach. But from there it was easy to find the beach. Parking was harder to find. The beach itself was clean and empty (it was a rainy day in winter), and the softly breaking waves were peaceful. It was a good place to walk but not to find treasures. Almost all the shells were tiny broken pieces and there was no beach glass.

Visited on Tuesday. Nice large uncrowded beach. Very scarce parking and have to make sure your wheels are off the road. Very few dogs there. Make sure you read the rules. Met some guys that were sailing after they beached their boats. Nice people, went to Buoy 44? To share a table with them for lunch. They were from the area and told us we should visit the St park down the road. First landing! The restaurant was nice and my wife and I shared a flounder sandwich ( with our dog ) and it wasn't over priced We might be back if we have time. Recommend this beach. Only 4 stars because only saw porta potties and no wash station, and bad parking.

Great beach. Was not very crowded and that was Labor day. Brought out a small grill had no issues. They had plenty of trash cans so beach was clean. Water felt very nice and it was shallow for the most part. The little kids had a blast as they could got pretty far for them.

Chic’s Beach in Virginia Beach has various names used by the locals, Chic’s Beach, Chick’s Beach, and Chesapeake Beach. Chic’s Beach is a narrow tiny beach in a residential neighborhood surrounding the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Chic’s Beach is tucked back in the Chic’s Beach Shopping Center off of Shore Drive behind Buoy 44 Seafood Grill Restaurant. Really nice beach with a personal feel about it. Limited street parking on the side streets and no public restrooms. Due to limited parking we usually take the boat out and dock near the beach. 🚤🏖️The fire works are amazing here on July 4th, just bring your beach chairs and refreshments. 🎆Restaurants near by Chic’s Beach are Buoy 44 Seafood Grill, HK On The Bay, Chic’s Beach Grill, and Green Parrot Grill.
