Extremely disappointed, this was my first and LAST time buying anything from this location. I read so many other reviews thinking it had a pretty good rapport, and was worth a try. I’m writing this to hopefully save someone a trip. I ordered the Balboa Sub, the chicken cutlets were so damn dry it (hurt to chew), the seeded roll was dry and hard, the Broccoli rabe was the worst I’ve ever had (mushy, taste was off), the sub build comes with long hots, needless to say my sub had NO long hots. My brother ordered a REGULAR ITALIAN, he took about 3 bites and threw the rest out. His response was the taste was terrible and the food is way over priced for what you’re getting. Excellent subs for the family! We had a variety of, Italian, Eggplant Parm, Poboy, Cheesesteak, Chicken Cutlets! Absolutely delicious! We took the subs to go.

Update: added a star after the owner reached out with a genuine desire to make things right. Will update again if they win us back (maybe it was just a bad night.). Happy to give them another chance. Disappointed. Anytime there was a FB poll about cheesesteaks I always recommended Chicos for their tasty and hearty subs. We have not lived nearby in a couple years so haven’t ordered from them. Back in the area and had my daughter pick up on her way to visit. I was so excited. My daughter used Slice app to order so EVERYTHING WAS SPELLED OUT (I saw the order)!!! Despite that, 2 of 3 orders were an epic fail. My son said his Po boy was great. I Ordered a “pizza steak” with mozzarella and sauce on seeded roll. There was zero sauce, a minuscule amount of meat, some of which was burnt and dry,

Was my 1st time ordering here. PIZZA IS FANTASTIC! I’m not lying. It’s really good, and I’m picky. Had really great flavor and a nice sauce. It smelled amazing so I knew it would be delicious. Additionally the salads we got were very fresh, dressing was a high quality, and the subs were really tasty. I would recommend their food 10 times over.

Stopped by Chico & Sons in Northfield and wow—what a spot! The pizza was perfectly crispy with great sauce and cheese, and the cheesesteak was loaded, juicy, and full of flavor. Best part? The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. If you're in the Brigantine/Northfield area craving killer pizza or a cheesesteak, this place is a must-try. 5 stars all the way! 🍕🥩
