Chick's Oyster Bar

Absolutely fantastic seafood! The flounder was perfectly cooked — light, flaky, and full of flavor. The shrimp plate was fresh and seasoned just right, and the tuna bites were a pleasant surprise — tender and delicious. The fries were crispy, and the coleslaw added the perfect touch. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Great portions, friendly service, and a relaxed coastal vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back!

That Atmosphere is very nice if you like views of the water. The waitress was very kind and tentative. The wait for the food was not long and it was served hot and fresh! The shrimp po boy was very good! The Crab Cake was very decent size, just had to ask for a sauce and I went with po boy sauce other than that I Would recommend this place and the food!

I went to Chick’s Oyster Bar with friends on their recommendation & now it’s a must each time I visit VA Beach! The valet parking makes the experience feel luxurious! The outdoor seating is usually more of a wait but it’s worth the wait to eat on the water! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful with string lights and good music! The food is DELICIOUS! I got the shrimp tacos & we had the calamari as an appetizer. I also highly suggest the sweet potato fries- they are very sweet, almost a cinnamon warm flavor, and crispy! You must visit if you’re in the area!

One of the best flounder sandwiches I have ever had!! The flounder tacos were out of this world! Fries were cooked perfectly not too soggy and not overcooked. I love when good food that’s simple is executed perfectly! Our waitress was really awesome very attentive stoped by the table multiple times never had to ask for anything very polite. And the view from the outside deck is something you should go try! 5 out of 5 thanks for having us

Had a wonderful time at happy hour. The food and atmosphere were amazing. The deals were also pretty good. The staff were extremely welcoming and on top of things. Can’t wait to visit again!
