Chicken Shack Brownstown

We decided to try the new restaurant. My husband always wants to eat it and he never wants to take out. But this time we definitely were going to take out. So we said can we see a menu? There was nothing on the counter. Nothing at the table. Nothing posted so she puts plastic coated menu on the counter.. The seating area was way too cramped. So after listening to her go on and on and on and on we finally were left alone to read the thing herself and we ordered and then she said well you can go out in your car and wait and then come back in 15 minutes. So yes 15 minutes it was done. Prices were similar to other places. The food was good. I know everybody makes it a little different. It was good but that lady really annoyed me

I’d really like to give more stars because the food is usually good. But the atmosphere a whole other story. Chris took our order and was very friendly. We ordered the Autumn meal, the sign says it comes with 3 sauces. Once we ordered all we heard was some tyrannical manager going off on Chris because you don’t give the sauces if they don’t order the wings or strips. Chris told her that isn’t on the sign and he just did what it stated. This woman continued to rant and rave for us all to hear. I feel bad for Chris and any other employee working with this woman. If sauces are that big a deal… just take the sign down! No need to make the customers feel uncomfortable!

The cook there was extremely rude. I had first arrived and was gonna ask for a crispy chicken sandwich. The time was 8:30 pm. No one came to the counter. As soon as I came in, there was this guy out of uniform who gave an exasperated look the moment he saw me. No one came out to the counter to say anything to me for a couple of minutes. Finally, a guy who was cleaning the kitchen came out to take my order. Unfortunately, the poor guy didn't know how to operate the kiosk. Cue the out-of-uniform guy coming over and selecting the crispy chicken sandwich on the kiosk in irritation. He could've just told me they were sold out for the day or some other excuse. He turned around and, without even looking at me, just said, "We're probably out of batter anyways." and started to walk out. He was just

Called in my order, guy on phone clarified how I wanted my order. Then I go in to get it 20 mins later. I wait for 10 min for someone to come to counter. Then my order is wrong(exactly what the guy clarified,he was cook as well). Chicken was old and seemed freezer burnt. Then was told they don't offer refunds. Don't eat here....update. spoke with regional manager and she went above and beyond(not just by refund but by her actual work put in). Will be visiting their other locations again for sure

I'm a vegetarian and thought there would be a good selection of food here for me, I was quickly proved wrong as almost the entire menu was meat items. I was very unsatisfied and hurt by this and would like this location to heavily consider switching to a no meat menu to be more acomidading.
