Chicken Salad Chick

Moving reviews over from a different platform. This was originally published 3/13/19. I've been back once or twice since then. Somehow, this place never gets mentioned when we talk about where to grab a quick bite. I am probably somewhere between 3 and 4 stars but based on the family's reaction to chicken salad, food production and order accuracy issues I decided to round down. Both times I've visited the order has been either incomplete or inaccurate. The most recent time I was served one piece of toasted bread and one piece of untoasted bread. Somehow, my first visit (by myself) was better than the second visit with the wife. Both time I ordered the same thing - soup & half-sandwich combo. This was our first time in. I do not normally like chicken salad. I had had a sandwich at a volunteer lunch and enjoyed it, so decided to try it first hand. Our family enjoyed the experience and will be back.

When I found out my go to place for chicken salad no longer sells said chicken salad, I did what all desperate hungry people do, I asked a great local face book group! The response was overwhelming Chicken Salad Chick. I decided to make the 20 min drive and find out what all the rave was about! First, the location in the Valley has a drive through, extra points there. I went inside, however, I will definitely use the drive through next time! The restaurant was clean and was a lot larger than I thought it would be, with plenty of seating, plus a small patio out front. There were so many options to choose from! We got a small container of Fruity Fran and a small Classic Carol, a container of mini croissants, which were fresh and pre-sliced, a bag of chips and a chocolate crispy bar. Everyt

I ordered the Chick and said to make it a trio and ordered one side and the. Said but I want to make it a trio which the girl replied yes I have your side as the soup…. So when I got to the window I asked if it was the trio and she said yes you have the sandwich and the soup, I said ok but I wanted the third side…. She said it will be $2.75 more I said ok. When I got home the first bite was either a piece of paper or a really long tendon and the chicken salad was way runnier than the other times I have ordered it. I also was looking forward to my pickle spear but it was super soft and grimy. Needless to say I probably won’t go back.

A very pleasant counter order cafe with good ambiance. Lots of natural light and a pleasing color scheme makes for an inviting setting. The salad was fresh, and I'm no connoisseur of chicken salad by any stretch, but it was tasty. Love the croissant! Also a drive-through for those on the go.
