Peruvian food is good. On some dishes certain ingredients were missing. The chicken is good. It’s moist with good flavor. Not a huge variety of Peruvian food. Order at the counter with no waitress. Fountain drinks and small salsa bar available. Has a fast food feeling to the restaurant.

Chick Houz is a little gem if you are a fan of rotisserie chicken. The Mega Salchipapa sandwich was a hearty, flavorful delight, and the rotisserie chicken was juicy and perfectly spiced. The sauces, especially the green and pink, were absolutely delicious, adding a zesty kick to every bite! You must also get the black beans and rice! 😋

I order from here very often..,. I’ll start off with the food is great. However,I’ve only ordered the roasted chicken . I ONLY took off stars because it’s clear staff does not pay attention to the orders. I ALWAYS order DARK meat only(which I pay extra for), and every single time I get a Breast….. my absolute least favorite thing….: going back isn’t an option as I usually order from work..:: which is approximately 8 miles away. I wish they pay more attention to the orders

Chick Houz has hands down the best chicken in all of Houston! The team is super friendly, the vibes are great, and the food… absolutely spectacular. Honestly, every dish I tried was a hit — no misses here. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and take a little trip over there. Try it and you’ll see exactly what I mean… pure deliciousness! Huge shoutout to Chef Roberto Castre for the amazing service and genuine kindness — something you don’t find everywhere these days. I truly felt right at home. Highly recommended!

Besides being the best bite in town, this is the most perfectly authentic Peruvian food we have found in the states. Super friendly service and good vibes to boot. I make it a point to stop every time we’re in Houston.
