Granted it's at a rest area, but once we got our order, we decided to eat there instead of continuing on the road. We sat down and upon unpacking our order, I noticed we were missing an order of fries. I went back to the counter to get the missing fry order and went back to sit down. A couple of minutes passed and my wife suddenly looks up, disgustedly, and asks, "What is that?" She passed her half eaten fries in the container and asked me to look inside. Something resembling a paper wrapper was at the very bottom of the fries. I again went back to the counter and pointed this out to an employee on duty, who commented that it looked like part of the bag the potatoes were in. I told them I didn't care, but it shouldn't have been in there at all. They gave me a new box of fries with a little
Had their food when we were visiting in Georgia and it was fantastic for what we had. Chicken tenders and waffle fries. We live in New York, on the way home from Rochester we stopped at the Clifton Springs rest area off the Thruway. Ordered 2-Chicken Tenders and 2-waffle fries, 2-Chocolate shakes. What we got was Chicken Nuggets, (not tenders), 2 Vanilla shakes, and 1 waffle fry. Of course we got charged for what we ordered. Good thing we didn't notice till we got home. Let's just say it was a far cry from what we had in Georgia.
I've never been disappointed with a Chik-fil-A before. Tonight, they called out my name, I asked if it was an order for 2 sandwiches, 2 fries and plenty of Chik-fil-A sauce. The employee confirmed. I grabbed the bag and went on my way. Dumb on my part that I didn't look over the order myself. I drove the hour and 20 minutes home ( yes, that is the closest Chick-fil-A to us) to eat with my wife only to find that we were shorted a sandwich. Total bummer when you are looking forward to eating it that whole drive home. To top it off, not only did we get shorted a sandwich but this location charges more than the usual locations.
Food was ok but they did get our order wrong ( ordered the Cobb salad with grilled nuggets but served the regular ones instead). Service was very slow and the line up was long. The pit stop they were located in was one of the better ones that we have been to in a while.
Good Chick-fil-A food you expect but this location is incredibly slow. Maybe they were short staffed today but we had to wait in line 30 minutes just to get our order taken. Food did not take too long to get to us but it was incredibly frustrating to wait in the long line for the one very slow cashier who was also pulled away to make ice creams frequently. I do appreciate that this location has the full menu (you never know with the locations in food court type places like this) but they don’t accept the app and the prices are higher than freestanding locations.
