Chicago Waffles Lincoln Square

I’m such a fan of brunch and I had to come by here to check out their brunch menu and I was thoroughly surprised. I love how their wide array of waffles ranges from savory to sweet. Right now, they have quite the cute menu offerings for the season, like the Grinch pancakes and mimosas. I tried the Dubai chocolate waffle and it was outstanding. I was also really surprised by the omelette. I got the one with smoked salmon and cream cheese in it and it was also full of capers. There was so much smoked salmon in there. I expected little pieces, but there were big chunks. What was also cool was that the chicken and waffles had bacon baked into the waffle - that was pretty awesome. I have very bad experience in the restaurant. Service is rude and slow. Fruit is rotten. And promotion shown on the poster on the window is declined. First I was told it is for west loop location, ridiculous. Then I was told everything on the poster is for 7-9am. Including the free kids meal. I got charged full price for kid meal and green tea waffle. The poster says 7-9am Monday to Friday for omelet and classic American breakfast. But I was told 7-9am also applies to free kids meal and Monday to Thursday greens waffle and hey lovers. It is very deceiving to customers. I told them it does not make sense and got ignored. I took my kid for his birthday and asking a kid water cup for three times still did not get it. I had to get up and went to front desk to ask for one. And no one ever came

Come here for my birthday with my family and from entering Iryna was fabulous! I grew up in this area and it is nice to see there is a new breakfast place with a good atmosphere here. The food was great, the music was a vibe, the customer service was top notch. On top of the great service the staff surprised me with singing and a complimentary pistachio waffle. Love it! I will be coming back.

First time at this place near our house! Food was delicious. I had the chilaquiles, my husband had a Mediterranean omelet and we shared the waffle flight. Our server Iryna was the sweetest server and so attentive to us. We will definitely me coming back!

Chicago Waffles in Lincoln Square was the perfect brunch spot! We enjoyed a meal of sweet & savory dishes. The Waffle Chicken Taco with the spicy syrup was my favorite! The Mexican Waffles with the chocolate Abuelita were also super yummy. There’s something on the menu for everyone, including creative cocktails & family friendly beverages. We had the best service from Kelly during our visit. She was so sweet & made excellent suggestions for both our palates. Kelly was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was casual & roomy with outdoor patio seating available. I recommend Chicago Waffles for your next brunch date!
