Chicago Style Beef and Dogs

Great chicago dog and a green river along with some cheese fries, yes please! Loved all the nostalgic photos and chicago gear. Reminded me of being back in the city! Easy parking, has a big lot.

It’s always a treat coming. The cheese fries are so yummy and crispy. And there’s nothing quite like a deliciously soggy Italian beef. The staff are fun and cool. Love the vibes. Support local business!

I got the Italian beef sandwich with both hot and sweet peppers with an extra side of giardiniera and gravy(au jus, juice, ect). It was ok. Thin almost roast beef style meat that was under seasoned. The gravy was very thin and had a little flavor. The giardiniera side saved the sandwich honestly. All for 18$ Bear Down!

The chicago style dog is where it's at, and the fries were amazing. My husband and I went here for dinner and absolutely 10/10 would recommend. The pickles and peppers on the dogs are perfect. The chips (fries) were super crispy and seasoned perfectly. We will be back soon!

I've lived in Lakewood my whole life but had never stopped in. This year, they were on the Colfax Passport list so we decided to give them a try and I unfortunately was very disappointed and the sole reason was the horrible service. We walked in and the older man who I assume is an owner, just kept staring at us without saying a word. The other staff were chatting in the kitchen and kept looking at us but never even acknowledged we were there. Finally, after 7 minutes of waiting the older lady came up and just said "what do you want". No hi, hello, welcome, nothing. We ordered and sat down.
