Chicago Joe's Restaurant

We came here after wanting to try it for a while. We ordered a caraffe of their house red wine, and thought it was nice. We started with the cheesy garlic bread and baked artichoke for appetizers. The cheesy garlic bread was alright. I didn’t care for the baked artichoke, but someone else had wanted to try it in our party. We had 7 people in our party, so we shared it. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, which was very good. It was salty though. My husband had the chicken parmesan. He said it was alright. Someone else who had it in our party thought it was a little dry. The chicken is not fully breaded, so it's a different looking chicken parmesan than I've seen before with only breading on the top. This place is a hidden Las Vegas hidden gem in the art district. The food is amazing and delicious their lasagna portions are filling, and the desserts don't disappoint. I have gone here on two separate occasions and both times I was impressed. Parking is limited in their parking lot and reservations are recommended, not sure if they are necessary.

Coming from Italy, I had high expectations for the quality and portion sizes of the food. Excellence would best describe everything about this place. The atmosphere was relaxing and very homie with wonderful mood lighting and a beautiful fireplace, unlit as it was. Our server, Randy, was personable from the get go and had our table cackling from the moment we sat down. The lasagna was unlike any I have ever had with a portion size to match. The cherry on top was the decadent desserts. We got the tiramisu and limoncello cake and they did NOT disappoint. They were some of the best desserts that I’ve had the pleasure of gracing my tastebuds with. All in all, 10/10 experience and will be going back every time I come to Vegas.

Food was amazing. Got the chicken parm. One of the better red sauces I've had in my life. Food not too expensive at all especially for the quality. Darren is the poster boy for what a good waiter should be. Will absolutely be back!

I have driven past this place so many times and always been intrigued by its humble exterior. Tonight we finally had the opportunity to swing by and it was well worth the wait! Our server was a lovely individual from Boston with a rich history in Las Vegas who really went above and beyond for our dinner experience. The food was delicious (lasagna gets 10/10), and the wine bottles were such a reasonable price! We had a wonderful time at this historic restaurant (why didn’t y’all have a 50th party??! It’s not too late!) and can’t wait to come back again.
