Chez Nous French Restaurant

My wife and I decided to go back to celebrate our anniversary since last year our experience was amazing. We were greeted with a friendly smile by Frida. You don’t see that genuine welcome in hostesses in restaurants or businesses nowadays. The maître d, miss Paige was very helpful with providing the ambiance & special attention I desired for my wife for the anniversary. The Champagne Toast / non alcoholic option & an exceptional dessert platter were perfectly presented. Our server Landry was very knowledgeable, courteous and overly attentive with my wife’s dietary needs, since she’s pregnant. I visited this restaurant yesterday and was thoroughly impressed. Despite being a 45-minute drive from my home, the quality of the kitchen makes it a destination worth visiting. The meal began with several traditional entrees. The escargots and beef tartare were both very well-executed, but the duck liver mousse was the clear standout of the course—exceptionally smooth and flavorful. For the main, I opted for the filet mignon. It was prepared perfectly and was quite delightful. It’s clear that there is a high level of technical skill behind the menu. For anyone seeking an authentic and high-quality French meal, I highly recommend making the trip. It is a rare find and certainly worth the time spent traveling.

Our food was delicious. I will dream about the goat cheese crispy pasta salad for a long time coming. The shrimp and scallop Risotto was also so good. My husband enjoyed his Caesar salad and salmon dinner with the wilted spinach. For dessert, we had a creme brulee. My only complaint is that we weren't informed that souffle would take half an hour or longer to make, otherwise I would have ordered that sooner so that I could have had that. Everything was amazing and was perfect for my birthday. Oh, and the cinnamon margarita was top notch!

This is a truly Michelin-worthy experience in dining at Chez Nous. Right when you walk in, you feel like you’re walking into a quaint French cottage. Their wines are truly excellent. I was able to sample a couple of beautiful wines (Sancerre and Bordeaux) before I chose the Sancerre. The wasabi pea encrusted salmon was very delicious as was the Berkshire Pork Ribeye. I have to say the chef is amazing with the entree and wine selections. Everything tasted divine, including the crème brulee banana bread and soufflé. I will need to return to try the other dishes on the wonderful menu! I would like to call out the excellent service — a truly Michelin-worthy experience!

Upon finding this place it's somewhat hidden, you could mistake it for a house in the area that it is, not necessarily a good or bad thing, just interesting. We had a reservation at 615, and we got there early, at around 6:05, maybe that was our mistake. We promptly got sat down upon entering, but we didn't get the drink menu until about 6:30PM, which is kind of strange. Following that, we got our drinks pretty quickly after ordering them. At this point in time we didn't get our actual menus yet, it wasn't given to us until about 15 minutes after we got our drinks for whatever reason. Not to mention we didn't get (1 piece of bread that wasn't anything of note) until about 5 minutes after getting our drinks.
