Staff is friendly, Tori was our waitress. She advised us that it was a 35 minute wait, although it turned out to be longer because there was a party of ten who got their order in after us as well as the couple sitting behind us. It's been 45 minutes and now our server said that they were going to plate it up. So we'll see how many more minutes that is. My wife got her food first and I'm still waiting for mine, only arrived 5 minutes after .The cornbread was made with real cornmeal and was good. The best part of the meal was the fish, shrimp and oysters. Really good. We also got an order to go for the next day's meal and the greens were really salty. I could not eat them. The oxtails were good but they forgot to put my rice that I ordered extra in the meal. Also the chicken was good but

Ordered the following on 2/5/26: 1. Family fish dinner. We chose 20 pieces of catfish, 2 large red beans and rice, and hush puppies. 2. Crawfish etoufee and cornbread. 3. Small side of potato salad. The fried fish was meaty, not salty, and fried perfectly. The potato salad was creamy, flavorful, and had good size chunks of potatoes. The crawfish etoufee had excellent flavor and tastes like how it's supposed to taste. The cornbread was made with honey and was not dry! A tad bit pricey but it's really good Southern food for our local area. We definitely have leftovers and will be eaten tomorrow since it was only the 2 of us dining! Yum yum yum!

Had dinner here last night. We showed up about an hour before closing and there was no wait. The service and food were excellent. I never leave reviews for restaurants, but I want this place to stick around for a long time. Loved the food, chicken was hot and juicy, waffle was perfect and all the sides we tried were good. No complaints at all. We left happy and full!

Great quality SoulFood in the Northern California Bay Area, near Travis AFB. I’ve been here a few times. After the first, I had to return another go and it didn’t disappoint. I believe It’s also black owned. The serving staff really impressed me with their courtesy and sense of urgency in serving me. It was packed when I visited because the food is that good. This is the real deal type of SoulFood. They go far above and beyond delivering excellent customer/food service. The quality of food is what I wanted and expected. I was completely satisfied with the service that I received here. It’s a nice family style/oriented setup and atmosphere. Will definitely come back and eat here again when/if I’m in the area. Whenever there is something new I try to take the wife. The last time I was at this spot, it was Buffalo Wild Wings. The atmosphere is about the same, but the vibe has changed. They even have a female DJ spinning R&B.The restaurant is clean and the staff were courteous and very professional. I'm sure our experience was not intentional but we showed up at about 5:15 PM. We ordered our food but due to two parties, one in the back and one on the patio, we sat for at least 1 hour and 30 minutes. It was about 11 of us in the main dining area and we all waited. We actually joked that we should have came early, so we could have shopped in the mall before it closed. When the food came, we enjoyed it but we were a bit discouraged. We both thought, they should have just told us in the beginning ther
