Chestnut Hill B & B

Amazing place, beautifully designed and maintained. Hosts are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

You will never stay at a more tranquil and romantic B&B than Chestnut Hill. Linda and Rob are the sweetest humans to ever walk this planet, and they have made all of our stays simply perfect. The atmosphere is so wonderful that Chestnut Hill was where I proposed to my wife. Milford itself has some great restaurants. You can sit by the river or check out the local shops. There are also many wineries nearby.

If you're looking for a nice quiet get away in an historic, beautiful home, located within a stone's throw of the Delaware, then Chestnut Hill is the place for you. Our hosts, Linda and Rob , and manager Carol couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The rooms are very comfortable, with a historic feel to them , quiet and private. We loved sitting out on the beautiful covered porch, having our coffee and watching the mist rise from the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Linda and Rob . We highly recommend this as a place to stay, and hopefully someday we will be back.

We stayed in the cottage for our 25th wedding anniversary. Linda could not have been nicer to us. The cottage is cozy and sweet. Lots of privacy. It was stocked full of treats and breakfast items. It’s extremely clean. You could not ask for a more scenic spot. It’s right on the water. We really enjoyed just sitting on the porch overlooking the river and having a glass of wine. We went to restaurants in nearby Milford and Frenchtown. We enjoyed the bike path and were able to get a nice long bike ride in to Bucks County and back. It was a nice relaxing weekend and a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary. I highly recommend staying here.

We 💯 recommend staying at Chestnut Hill on the Delaware. The accomodations were clean and comfortable. The property was well maintained and beautiful. The Inn Keepers/owners, (Linda & Rob), were very nice and graciously shared so much history with us about the area. You can walk to downtown Milford. There's also a lot to do within 10-20 minutes drive from Milford. Each nearby town was charming and beautiful. We had a great time.
