Cute kids and super staff! Special thanks to Matt and the Library Director for volunteering to become our HUMAN DUMMIES, wear our male and female ventriloquist face masks, and help us sing "No Bully Zone". Many of the children joined us on stage today. Some even volunteered to demonstrate their new ventriloquial skills after choosing a puppet of their choice from our big drum case. Volunteers were encouraged to say their first name into the microphone and try moving the puppet's mouth three times as they said "One, Two, Three" with their new puppet voice. Many joined in tempo with their puppets, tambourines, maracas, or drumsticks. We even got a standing ovation when everyone on stage bowed in unison to close the show. Perfect small town library. Friendly and welcoming. Free computer use, wifi. With advent of CWMARS, can get virtually any book in any Massachusetts library.
The librarian was rude and the word library is stretching it. It's one room.
