Chester County Library

Chester County Library is absolutely fantastic! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They have an amazing selection of books, movies, digital resources, and more. They’re always posting programs and new books they’re acquiring on Social Media so it’s easy to know what’s going on! The programs for kids, teens, and adults are creative and really bring the community together. The space itself is beautiful — perfect for studying, working, or just relaxing with a good book. It’s clear they truly care about serving the community. So lucky to have a library like this in Chester County!

The woman at the front is the sweetest! I made a few copies and didn't know they only accept cash. All I had was a card. She paid what I owed for me and it just made this bad day so much better. She didn't hesitate or think twice. Just that small act of kindness from her turned my whole day around. She was the older short haired lady with glasses. Didn't get a chance to check a name tag or get her name. I'm hoping she'll see this. Or someone who knows her. I told her in person but truly thank you so so much 🙏🏻 You make a difference ❤️

I love my local library. I have found community and friendship in my small town library. While I have lived in large cities with the funding for larger collections and buildings, I have never experienced the friendliness like I experience at the Chester County Library. Not only do the librarians at the Chester County Library help me find the books I am looking for, but they also pay attention to what I read and often make suggestions for new reads based on what they know I enjoy reading. I am never lacking to fill my "book fix" between the selections available in the library, what's available on the Libby app, and the availability of things through the Inter-Library Loan.

This library rocks! Great selection and incredible staff. All go beyond the call of duty to make sure you leave happy. Spacious and clean. If they do not have your book, they will find it for you and try to have it there in a few days. Always a great experience. Thank you to the staff of The Chester County Library!

Staff is friendly and helpful. There are activities for all ages on a regular basis. They have a good library of books for a small town, good digital resources and media resources, etc.
