Cherry Orchard Bed & Breakfast

Been there twice and my wife and I love it. Very quiet, great breakfast and awesome host(s).

This place is awesome. breathtaking views of finger lake and vinyard. Walk the property and see the stocked pond. You can't bait you hook fast enough. My wife and I just came back from a memorable weekend in Watkins Glen NY. We stayed at the Cherry Orchard B&B with another couple. We are all from Long Island. After reading some of the reviews floating around tripadvisor and other parts if the internet, I was concerned about booking The Cherry Orchard. We were booking very last minute and it was the only place that could accommodate 2 couples for this weekend. I have to say it turned out really great!! We went hiking at the gorge most of the day and headed over to the Cherry Orchard around 2PM. As most of the reviews said we pulled up to the house and our keys and instructions were in envelopes hanging out of the mailbox with our names on them. Cherry Orchard B&B is located in a great location on the wine trail. It is a short drive to Watkins Glenn and there are many wineries nearby. There is a winery next to the property that you can walk to from the B&B. Vera was the sweetest lady ever. She greeted us upon our arrival and made sure we has everything we needed. I really liked have the entrances to your room was outside of the building. The room was large and clean. We had many windows facing the backyard. Breakfast was nice. Vera served us belgium waffles with strawberries, eggs, toast and fruit. The breakfast was very filling. Vera recommended some wineries to us at breakfast. We arrived at Cherry Orchard and found an envelope at the door in the mailbox. We went up to our clean, spacious room, with our own bathroom. In the Finger Lakes, to get a room this clean, bright, secluded, and comfortable for this rate is virtually unheard of. True, there are other B&B's with "common areas" and "common toilets" for twice the price that can give you a more "cozy" feel, but it depends on what you are looking for. My husband and I wanted a romantic weekend. We didn't want to spend our time with other couples or the proprietor touring the rooms and getting to know each other. ||From reading the other reviews about wine openers, the property sits about 100 feet away from a winery sales room where wine openers can be bought, or if you are so inclined, I am sure the owner of the
