Cheng Garden Chinese Food

I had a very disappointing experience here. The lady who handed me my order was quite rude, making it clear that my request for a custom order due to dietary restrictions was not welcome. It felt like they were annoyed by a simple request, which was really disheartening. On top of that, the food quality was very poor, lacking both flavor and freshness. If you have any dietary restrictions or are simply looking for good quality food, I’d recommend steering clear of this place. We placed a large order at about 20 minutes prior to closing. I apologized….and they reassured me that it wasn’t a problem. We ordered many items and the entire order was correct. We order from them because their chicken in the orange chicken and sesame chicken is “clean”, solid pieces of chicken. Their egg rolls have always been fresh and it’s not overly greasy. The pics are just a few of the entire order. We just wish they delivered….

I used to consider this place one of the best Chinese spots around. I hadn’t had it in over a year, so I decided to grab dinner for the family. Unfortunately, the food looked completely different from what it used to be, and the taste wasn’t the same at all. Even worse, my family and I ended up getting sick afterward. Really disappointed, and sadly, I won’t be coming back.

Ordered Shrimp in Lobster souse. Well that it was not a souse it was like soup. I don't know what happened with the eggroll. Almost as small like a hot dog. I used to love egg rolls. Not this one.

We were planning a big party at our HOA and after trying almost a dozen Chinese Restaurants, that did catering, we tried Cheng Garden. We knew we'd found gold when every dish we tested tasted like what we ordered, instead of all having one flavor. The chicken, beef & pork were tender and not fatty, the vegetables were fresh and crispy and the flavors were delightful. They couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant to deal with and their prices were right in line. On the day of the party, all the trays were ready for pick up at the specified time, packed in boxes and piping hot. One box was accidentally left behind and Cheng Garden immediately ran it over.
